Just re-visited after many years. The service here is truly wonderful. Thank you to the host who was able to snag us a table, even though we would have settled for the bar. We split three dishes of pasta between the two of us and enjoyed the tiramisu for dessert. Luckily, the line for "Drink" downstairs wasn't too long and we snuck in for a nightcap. Lovely dinner, and date night, for two.

Came back after 5 years with covid in between, and it is exactly how I remembered it! Great food and drinks. Great ambiance and will always recommend to anyone visiting Boston. P.S. the rabbit pasta is still my favorite.

They were pretty booked for all the standard dinner times on a Saturday night so we got a reservation for 9:30p then were able to move it up by 40 mins. We actually arrived before our reservation and were seated immediately. The interior is lit by mildly dim lights. Not quite a bright room and not an ambiant warmth either. It somehow feels a little dark while also being bright enough. Interesting note that the restrooms are single stalls facing the dining area. When someone enters or exits the restroom, anyone within view of it can see inside. Don't usually see that and don't think I prefer it. I don't hate it either, just interesting design choice. 3/5 Polpette (meatballs) - meatballs were on the drier side but the sauce was a great dip for the bread it came with 1/5 Sunchokes - i had never heard of sunchokes before this meal. My friend had them at Sportello before and liked them so we ordered it. He said it wasnt as great this time as it was in the past. It was a little dry for me but never had them before so am unsure if this is just how they're supposed to be. There were hard pieces that couldnt be cut with a knife so i had to poke them out of each piece before eating. Would not order this again. 5/5 Gnocci - great texture!! Best gnocci I've ever had. Had a mix of other ingredients and was quite saucy. Was the favorite of the night. Service was great. We wanted to get a bottle of wine but weren't sure which to choose. Our server was very helpful in selecting a bottle for us. The restaurant closes at 10p however they let us hang out til 11p. I noticed people slowly filtering out then checked the hours and realized they had already closed. Easy to hang out here for awhile. They have different types of seating, one of which is a long table for big groups. Feels kind of homey. Overall very pleasant dining experience. Would order other items if I returned. Note: there's a bar downstairs that would make it an easy transition from dinner to drinks.

Outstanding food experience. It's a very busy place so reservations are recommended. Ordered a pasta dish with an amazing red sauce! I'll be dreaming about that for a very long time! Service was spot on. I'll definitely be back! FYI- Gnocchi isn't pasta! It is made from potatoes.
